Preserve the legacy of Wisconsin Veterans with the Wisconsin Veterans Museum Foundation
The Foundation is a non-profit 501 (c)3 tax-exempt charitable corporation chartered by the State of Wisconsin for the sole purpose of assisting the Wisconsin Veterans Museum in raising funds. The Foundation helps the Veterans Museum develop exhibits, implement public educational programs, acquire historical collections, and engage in other activities that further the Museum's mission. A fifteen member Board of Directors oversees the Foundation.
Located at historic Camp Williams/Volk Field, the Wisconsin National Guard Museum is dedicated to preserving the memory of service and sacrifice by the men and women who served, as well as the rich history of the National Guard.
The Wisconsin Veterans Museum hosts a guided walking tour of Forest Hill Cemetery entitled "Talking Spirits." The tours increase appreciation for veterans' history by focusing on lives of people who have contributed to American military affairs.
